Tutor Time’s WOW Activity Group is a playgroup program that covers bilingual immersion (English and Mandarin), GrowFit gym time, and sensory exploration, all designed to nurture your child’s development in one dynamic class. Our program is divided into two age groups (Infant 6-12 months and Toddler 12-24 months), with each session supporting comprehensive growth at just the right pace.

WOW Activity Group Program Highlights

1. Balanced approach of structure and free play

We utilize a balanced approach of structured learning and free play to get the best of both worlds. By combining both, children not only learn age-appropriate skills, but they also have a chance to explore their natural interests.

2. Native bilingual environment

Our playgroup lessons are 50% full English immersion and 50% full Mandarin immersion. Native language teachers are supported by trilingual classroom teachers to provide a truly immersive and rich bilingual environment.

3. Socialization with peers

One of the greatest things about our WOW Activity Group is that it attracts like-minded families. Your child will get to meet a wide range of new friends to begin socializing from an early age.

4. A gentle transition to Nursery Programs

Over the past 20+ years in Hong Kong, we’ve noticed that children who have previously attended playgroups generally acclimate faster to our Nursery program and experience less severe separation anxiety.

Strengthening Gross and Fine Motor Skills:
Through age-appropriate physical activities, we prepare infants and toddlers for future milestones—from standing, walking, to eventually writing.
Enhancing Hand-Eye and Foot-Eye Coordination:
By practicing physical coordination through play, we lay the groundwork for future gross motor skills like walking and writing.
Sensory Integration Training:
Rich sensory experiences help strengthen neural network development, promoting cognitive, linguistic, and focus-related growth.

Coordinated Left and Right Brain Development: “Crossing the midline” activities help support emotional regulation, sustained concentration, and better coordination.

Language circle time

Children and caregivers settle in for a welcome song and themed story time.

Large group activity

Engage in a hands-on activity together with the whole class! The activity will be related to the weekly focus.

Small group activity

Rotate through activity stations that focus on different areas of development, guided by our experienced teachers.

Creative play

Immerse in today’s arts and crafts activity – a great way to express creativity while practicing important fine motor skills.

Sensory table

Explore today’s baby-safe sensory material in our special sensory table. Great for little ones who love to explore with their hands.

Go to the playground for a dedicated section focusing on motor development and bodily coordination.

Fully-immersive bilingual structure

Each class is conducted 50% in English and 50% in Mandarin, which means your child gets equal exposure to both languages throughout all activities.

Playgroup Program Structure & Learning Environment

Teachers in a Class

To ensure every child receives ample attention and care, each class is staffed by 3 qualified teachers,
including 1 Native English teacher, 1 Native Mandarin teacher, and 1 classroom assistant.

Age Range

This bilingual playgroup program is tailored for infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 2 years, the golden window for early education.

Students in a Class

We insist on a small-class teaching model, with a maximum of 8 to 10 children per session.
This allows our teaching team to closely monitor and support the developmental needs of every child.

Safety

The safety of our children is our top priority.
Our campuses are purposefully located on the Ground Floor or 1st Floor of various buildings in Hong Kong
to ensure that students and staff can evacuate quickly and safely in case of any emergency during playgroup classes.
