Our nursery (also known as pre-nursery) class in Hong Kong offers a holistic, tailored approach to support each aspect of their growth, building the skills and confidence they need to thrive in school and beyond.

Nursery Program Highlights

Dealing with separation anxiety

We know how difficult it is to start Nursery (for both parents and children)! Our class teachers use creative tools such as the family photo wall and visual schedule, so that children feel secure knowing what’s coming up next and when they will see their parents again.

Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) support

It’s called ‘Terrible Twos’ for a reason – but we believe it’s the perfect time to teach children social & emotional skills. Not only are all of our teachers trained in Positive Behavioral Support, but we also have dedicated parts of our curriculum for teaching SEL.

Washroom & potty training

Each of our classrooms has direct-access child-sized bathrooms, so that children can learn independent potty skills. If your child is still not potty-trained, our classroom assistants help with potty training through daily practice.

Remote livestream for parents

All Nursery families can access Kideowatch – our remote livestream that connects directly to your child’s classroom, so that you can check in on them throughout the day and get much-needed peace of mind that they’re doing alright in class.

Highly personalized curriculum

Education is not one-size-fits-all. Our teachers go the extra mile to tailor classes to your child’s individual needs. Parents are invited to attend 1-on-1 parent-teacher conferences twice a year, and will also receive a report card after every term.

Nursery Class Structure & Learning Environment

Teachers in Class

To ensure every child receives ample attention and care, each nursery class is staffed by 4 qualified teachers,
including 1 English teacher, 1 Mandarin teacher, 1 classroom teacher, and 1 classroom assistant, creating a high-quality bilingual learning environment for young learners.

Age Range

Our Nursery (Pre-nursery class) program is tailored for toddlers aged 2 to 3 years, nurturing their rapid growth and development during this important early stage.

Teacher-Student Ratio

We are committed to maintaining excellence in teaching quality by implementing a small teacher-to-student ratio of 1:8. This allows our teaching team
to closely monitor and support the personalized developmental needs of every child.

The safety of our children is our top priority. Our campuses are purposefully located on the Ground Floor or 1st Floor
to ensure that students and staff can evacuate quickly and safely in any emergency.
