Insight From Kurtis’s Family

Q: Looking back, what made you choose Tutor Time for?

A: It’s a reputable international school offering a playgroup for little infants, and the location is very convenient for us.

Q: How do you think Tutor Time prepared your child for primary school? Can you share any interesting stories?

A: Tutor Time’s all-rounded curriculum and the exposure to different activities were excellent.  We were able to create Kurtis’s portfolio and prepare for interviews very easily based on the school’s activities

Q: What are the most valuable skills your child learnt in Tutor Time?

A: Many of them, but the communication skill is the most valuable one.

Q: What is the most memorable moment with your child in Tutor Time?

A: There are too many precious moments: among all, we especially love the memory of celebrating every Kurtis’s birthday in Tutor Time together with his classmates and teachers.

Q: How would you describe Tutor Time’s teachers and staff? What impact did they have on your child?

A: Tutor Time’s teachers and staff are super!  They are kind, caring, trustworthy, and genuine.  Kurtis developed a positive attitude and is willing to trust and communicate with his teacher openly and truthfully, even today at Grade 9.

Kurtis Shares His Experience

Q: What is your favourite memory of Tutor Time?

A: I remember we had a lot of special fun Fridays, festivals, and events.  We got to dress up and do roleplays, like Superhero day, Blink blink day, tie-day, crazy hair day, hat day, and of course, Halloween, Christmas, New Year parties, etc.  Also, outing to the beach was super fun, and we got to get ourselves wet,  played with water and sand, and ran around in a big open space.

Q: What’s your favorite hobby or subject?

A: I like Maths and also love playing badminton.

Q: What do you think is the most important thing Tutor Time taught you?

A: I started my playgroup in Tutor Time and stayed until K3. I’ve basically learned everything here, but among all, I think the communication skills were the most important one. I’ve learned to be brave, confident, and sincere when communicating with others.

Q: Did you face any obstacles when adapting to primary school life? How did you overcome them?

A: I can’t recall having much difficulty, but in general, going to a much much bigger school may be challenging.  But I was okay and making new friends very soon.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: At my graduation ceremony in K3, I said I wanted to be an engineer. Now, at Grade 9, I am still interested in the engineering area.
